Overall I/Cs!
Overall I/Cs will be Siti and Ding. Please listen to whatever they say and be co-operative to ensure that the Orientation Day will run smoothly.
Siti and Ding, if there are any doubts, please ask Christy.
As overall I/Cs, you have to ensure that the groups go to their designated stations at a time. (Groups will be divided to about 10 per group, around 4 to 5 groups. Wacko will be played as individuals not as groups.)
Make sure that the logistics needed for each station is where it’s supposed to be.
On that day itself, if facils or game masters have any questions, they will come to you.
You are also the “hosts” of the event and will be addressing the general cohort of J1s whenever necessary. If you want to teach them about judo etc, feel free to do so during intermissions / free time.
Logistics!
Sondra and Christy. Any questions please come to us. Sondra, we have to get the chairs / tables situation settled by Friday evening. Refer to Ms Wang for enquiries.
12pm – 1.15pm: Lunch
We are not catering for all the J1s for the sole reason that we don’t know for sure how many will show up. We will go out to eat as a GROUP (no stragglers). Make sure we all report to SJI for normal training ON TIME.
1.30pm – 4.30pm: Training
J1s will be training with us. They will have their own “regime” like we had when we were in their position. Their training ends officially at 3.30pm but we train to 4.30pm as per normal.
(Ding: I’m not sure they would want to wait for us (maybe not) and we want them to go for dinner altogether. Should we ask coach about this? Maybe lengthen their training or shorten ours, or make the “waiting” compulsory – like their “1 hour long break”? Haha. Just a suggestion.)
5pm – 8 (plus minus) – Dinner
For J1s, dinner is not compulsory but as you know, it is strongly encouraged as it’s a really good bonding time for us so J2s, you are even more strongly encouraged to come. Help us bring more J1s in ok!
You guys rock! Let’s make this Orientation Day a successful one ok! Love you guys!
